Advice Sessions

Tull Stories’ Jonny Tull was an Advisor for the British Film Institute’s former Film Audience Network Advice Sessions initiative and has consulted for Doc Society. Book a session via the button below.

Hour-long advice sessions for filmmakers and cinema exhibitors.
Book a one-hour consultancy session on Zoom with Jonny Tull to discuss your film distribution or exhibition project.

For filmmakers: We can look at all aspects of film distribution including ways to get your film to its audience, who that audience may be, and possible avenues for funding.

For cinema exhibitors: We can discuss film programming, bookings, audience development, data analysis, marketing tactics, and fundraising.

The fee per session is £100 (no VAT) for one hour.

Please book your session via our Calendly link via the button below.

Please supply any information you’d like me to look at well in advance of our meeting so that we can discuss it during the session.
This may include press notes, pitch decks, trailers, and, in some cases, a screening link to the full feature.

If you would like to discuss a free session or have any queries please email us at jonny@tullstories.co.uk.

“Everyone who attended a session with Tull Stories got a lot out of it. Jonny did a fantastic job of demystifying the exhibition and distribution elements of the filmmaking process and offered specialist advice, tailoring the conversation to each company’s experience level and needs.”

Feedback from filmmakers:

“Jonny was great at looking at pathways to putting a team together to complete our films in production. Having advice on finding an audience gave impetus to completing our films.”

“Jonny was very insightful, and I definitely feel more clear on how we may be able to take things forward…we will use Jonny’s proactive approach whilst also making sure to “keep hold of the authenticity”. Great stuff!”
